Who is BidBuddy for?
Air Canada Rouge flight attendants who hold a block. Reserve support comes later.
Does BidBuddy submit my bid?
No. BidBuddy builds your bid. You enter it in PBS yourself, line by line.
Is my result a guaranteed award?
No. BidBuddy's line is a proposal, not a confirmed PBS award. Your actual award depends on seniority and how others bid.
Do I need an account?
Not during the beta. Anyone can try it. You only need an account to save bids.
Does it know which pairings I can hold?
Yes. BidBuddy uses your profile to focus on pairings that fit you.
Is BidBuddy made by Air Canada?
No. BidBuddy is independent and not affiliated with Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or the union.

Who we are
BidBuddy is an independent tool that helps flight attendants build their monthly PBS bids. It is operated from Quebec, Canada, and is not affiliated with Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or any union.
Our Privacy Officer is in charge of protecting your personal information. You can reach them at privacy@getbidbuddy.app.
What we collect
- Beta sign-up: your name, email, base, how you heard about us, and whether you want email updates.
- Account: your email address and login details.
- Profile: your seniority number, languages, whether you're lead qualified, and your bidding preferences.
- Bids: when you're signed in, the bids you build and save, including your recent builds.
- Pairing packages: read only to build your bid, then discarded. We never store them or share them with anyone.
- Technical data: basic logs our hosting providers keep, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the service secure and working.
We only collect what we need to run BidBuddy.
How we use it
- To send your beta invite.
- To send BidBuddy updates, only if you asked for them. Every update has an unsubscribe link.
- To build your bids and save them to your account.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To understand how people find us.
We never sell your information. We don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run BidBuddy. They can only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Netlify hosts this website and stores beta sign-ups. Its servers may be outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States.
- Supabase stores accounts, profiles and saved bids on servers in Canada.
Information stored outside Quebec may be subject to the laws of that place. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The BidBuddy app uses essential cookies or similar storage only to keep you signed in.
How long we keep it
We keep beta sign-ups until the beta ends or you ask us to remove them. We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to:
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Delete it.
- Withdraw your consent, for example to stop getting emails.
- Get a copy of your information in a common format.
Email privacy@getbidbuddy.app. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach could cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
BidBuddy is for working flight attendants. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If the change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app.

Agreement
By using BidBuddy, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. BidBuddy is operated from Quebec, Canada.
What BidBuddy does
BidBuddy reads your pairing package and suggests a PBS bid based on your profile and preferences. You enter the bid in PBS yourself. BidBuddy is independent and is not affiliated with Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or any union.
Your bid is your responsibility
BidBuddy's bid is a proposal, not a confirmed PBS award. Your award depends on seniority, how others bid and your airline's rules. Check your bid before you submit it. We are not responsible for the pairings you are or aren't awarded.
Beta
BidBuddy is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed. It's free during the beta.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for what happens in your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the files and information you add. You let us use them only to run BidBuddy for you. Only add pairing packages you're allowed to access, and follow your employer's rules about sharing them.
Fair use
- Don't try to break, overload or hack the service.
- Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer BidBuddy.
- Don't use it for anything illegal.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Paid plans
We may offer paid plans later. We'll tell you the price and terms before you're charged anything.
Our content
The BidBuddy name, logo, app and website belong to BidBuddy. You can't use them without permission.
Limits of liability
BidBuddy is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost pay, lost days off or missed trips, from using BidBuddy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act or other laws that can't be waived.
Ending your use
You can stop using BidBuddy and delete your account at any time. We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice, or right away if you break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you about significant changes.
